I look at the NBA award race for the first time ever, and I see the likes of Wade, Harden, Chris Paul, Paul George and even fukking Kobe :ohlawd: ahead of him in the top 10.

This dude is shooting 450 from beyond the arc and 446 from the field. Coming of an injury riddled season to lead a young, perennial loser of a team to the playoffs averaging 22-4-7.

What the hell am I missing? Only dudes ahead should be Bron, Durant, Parker and perhaps Melo.

Him being a candidate doesn't mean much if there's still like 5-6 people better than him

That's kind of a moral victory no?

There were people at his position better than him so that too is kind of a moot point

well first, you have to have ankles made of steel and not glass

second, you have to be able to play effective defense against the top PGs in the league and not leave that for Jarret Jack to do

right now the warriors are barely a sixth seed. if they fukk up 1 too many times they could get knocked out the playoffs. if you're not one of the best players in the league you at least need to lead your team to more victories than everybody else.
