The more I think about this shyt, the more heated I get. How did a tiny minority of whites rule that country for so long and live peacefully without major blowback? :gucci:

Why was there not a civil war, constant terrorism, etc. I can’t imagine the humiliation of living in a country where we make up over 80% of the population and still get dominated by a population that makes up less than 20%.

It’s like AAs in America with a population of 15% dominating whites with 80% pop. and forcing them to live In specified areas with no blowback. The whole shyt makes zero sense :mindblown:

White supremacy is a global phenomenon, and is still the dominate force on this planet.

That's how.

These Internet Streetz
this should apply to pretty much any explanation of colonialism and exploitation on the whole continent

1. there were attacks, they just werent very decisive
2. the gap in technology between africans and europeans was extreme
3. europeans had more of a united understanding among them, africans had old tribal distinctions that could be played against them

Concentrated power early on.

South Africa is a Western European creation - Xhosa, Khoikhoi, and Zulu people were far more anarchistic in their socio-economic structure - they were not a cohesive culture, with a shared history and peoplehood that would make coming together a quick reality. They didn't even share the same languages. They were broken up, divided, slaughtered, and endured brutality.

Most people don't individually see national oppression in a clear enough light to be able to fight back against an impenetrable seeming force. It was hard to get African-Americans as a whole to understand that we were in an apartheid state here in the US. Hence why only 10-15% of AAs were involved in the Civil Rights struggle.

Apartheid was supported by almost every major Western power,

The only people supporting the South African people in their struggle to end the apartheid-state were the African-diaspora (not including the corrupt-Western-backed African nations), and the communist-aligned states - USSR, PRC, Cuba, and a few other governments.

The Europeans came to conquer. The Indigenous people of South Africa did not exist to go to war with their conquerors.
