How the hell do people let their email notifications get into the 1000s

I’m always baffled when I see email notifications on people’s phones, and it’s a high number. Numbers into the 100s are bad, but letting it get to 1,000 seems absurd!


Are you just scrolling, and not reading, yet saving it? Are you getting email notifications for social media for every single little thing such as a “like”, as if that’s necessary?


There is no way you’re going through thousands of emails.

I say this as someone who still has an old yahoo account, and gets the “Rolex watches, and performance enhancing drug” emails, but they go to spam, and other stuff goes to the junk box on my gmail accounts.

Are you subscribed to a lot of mailing lists, and are too lazy to unsubscribe to Foot Locker and Macys? Clearly you’re not reading newsletters.

I'm currently at 176 but that's more than likely spam or stuff deep in my inbox that I clearly don't need. What I'm baffled by are people with 100's of unread text messages. They truly dgaf about their contacts.

I wonder this too. I have 3 business emails and 2 personal emails. (1 for spam and another for more serious things) and I never get that high of a count I see most everything minus spam. shyt is crazy.
