I actually agree with him most of the time but his takes are not practical, the US will never adopt socialism...the sooner we admit that, the easier we can fix this country's problems.

That being said, the reason we have keep having 2 party at the front is because we have a winner take all election process. Its probably the least democratic form of Democracy you could use. Its a shyt system and the Founding Cacs knew it but didn't care much at the time because only rich cacs were voting. Such a system only encouraged conservative ideals because give an air of legitimacey and stability. Our politics isnt the problem, its our outdated election process.

We could easily have it actually, there really isn't a logical reason why we aren't actually. Problem is too many people don't see the point when we say both sides are actively fukking you over. As soon as we get over Republicans and Democrats we can make actual progress.

We do have socialism. For Corporations and for the rich.

This country will never be 100% Socialists in the Marxist sense but this country has always had aspects of socialism.

Military veterans getting health, education and other benefits.
Free Public schools
Social Security
Medicare
Labor Unions (when they were strong)
