- please sharpen that knife...or better yet use the serrated bread knife

It's cheaper to make them like urs instead of going to wawa, dunkin donuts, starbucks or other spots.

My bad, I thought you talking about the first knife he used, looks like he used a chef's knife to cut it into pieces.Pause the vid at 3:06 and 3:14...tell me you see serrations. And in the unlikely event that you were right, that would mean that OP needs brushing up on knife skills. You don't press straight down with a serrated anything.
If you're going to do it, do it right. No shortcuts here.
