A vet visit isn't that much. All they would normally do is flea treatment pill and deworm. You can buy that yourself from Walmart. When they reach a certain age they need shots.. but if you were able to catch them they must be young..

A tiny bottle from PetSmart if they still need to be hand fed is the way. If they're old enough to eat solid food just let them eat some friskies

It depends on how old they are. If they're adults you caught in a trap it's next to impossible. If they're babies yes they can easily be domesticated.

How did you catch it? It's probably not as stray as you think. We caught one as a kid with a milk carton and a stick and the thing was going crazy inside the cart.

It probably has fleas, do you might give it a flea bath.
