how to not get a letter from ISP about torrents ?

I download a ton and I've never got caught but I dont do anything special ... so I know I am just pushing my luck. Isn't there things you are supposed to do so you wont get caught ?

Proper settings in utorrent is a start.

Private tracker is another. Read comments. No methods are 100% fool proof but these can get you out of dodge most of the time.

I do the same thing as u. I just don't share anything, nor do I keep the content on my computer. the movies/tv shows I DL always go on PS3, and if they have cinavia, I'll watch them on my tv via HDMI and then delete them.

meanwhile, I taught my bro in law how to use torrents like a month ago, he downloaded 1 movie, and got a letter from comcast

I came across a damn near DVD copy of Breaking Dawn 2 yesterday

after all the big-budget movies and games I d/l, the only time I got one of those letters was for some bo-bo porn. and I did get the tracker off a rather bo-bo site

when I read up on it, it said the shyt was basically a scam. sure enough in the e-mail there was some link to a site where they wanted me to pay $200 to 'settle' or whatever. I ignored it, and never heard from them again

p2p tracker and ALWAYS set whatever torrent agent that u use to "do not upload" or set your kbps to the lowest speed possible. .
