It's the year of sexual harassment brehs so here's some advice for you to get through the end of the year and into 2018 allegation free.
1) Keep your hands to yourself at work. If you want to console a person ask them permission first if you want to hug them. A woman walks up to hug you? Extend a handshake to them instead.
2) Clock into work, keep your head in your computer screen. Do you work. Go home. If you want to joke around keep your jokes G/PG.
3) If you want to say something inappropriate come here and post it. Don't say it!
4) At a Happy Hour and someone offers you a drink? Ask for water, tonic, or ginger beer. You don't want to be caught inebriated and accidentally hit on a female coworker. This also helps you avoid fukkery at your company's Christmas Party. Better yet don't even attend it this year.
5) Conversation pieces. Talk about the weather, sports (gender neutral ones you cis male pig), day of the week ("It's Wednesday!" "It's almost the weekend!"). Don't divulge your personal life to anyone to use it as ammo.
6) Compliments? Keep them dry. "You look nice today Karen!" "Good Morning/Afternoon" (Not good evening because you're probably at work after hours...why are you there alone with a female colleague. Use the Mike Pence Rule!. A woman compliments you? Don't reciprocate! Say "Thank You" and keep it moving.
7) Don't incriminate yourself boyos over texts! Anything can be screenshot nowadays. I recommend Snapchat or sending audio clips.
8) Doubly apply these rules if you are a man of color. You don't want Kelly in Accounts Payable or Legal saying you asked her to send bobs. If white men are getting fired over simple accusations you can guarantee yo' black ass is going to be the next!
