How to play 2 players on Xbox one?

I'm new to Xbox one and any Xbox period. I got live and I'm trying to play two players/split screen with my nephew for Kane and Lynch 2 or army of two with my nephew. I made a second profile and even tried guest for him. Maybe im but this is confusing

I am signed in both controllers with different profiles. They 360 playback games I downloaded on Xbox one live gold

Ok I guess it only affects the old backward 360 versions of the those games because we can play all Xbox one games that's two players normal. Must be a glitch for those titles. Thanks for no help so much downloading those 360 games on gold. Can't even play two players.

@Immortalized Outlaw you can do couch co-op on Xbox 360 backward compatible game. I believe you nephew or son, depending on who's console it is would have to make/sign-in into a dummy account and then launch the 360 title you wish to play. Hope this helps breh...

I got army of two for 360 and it worked easily


the whole online thing really fukked it up for two player in person co-op. that's my biggest gripe about modern games

I didn't even realize anything was split screen capable anymore since like 360. Every fukkin game ever try to couch co-op with ends up being some multiplayer only when you're in a different house type of shyt
