This is a really good video. The pastor raises some interesting points:

Before going out to minister to people, Jesus prayed to God in solitude.
After going out to minister to people, Jesus withdrew himself from the public and prayed to God in solitude.

If we look at ministration as an exercise then praying to God, in this scenario, is the energy booster that we need before and after the exercise of ministration. It helps to explain why Jesus told us to "pray without ceasing".
