Science tries to get to the right answer as objectively as possible. Religion offers no deeper understanding of reality or the physical world and they don't really give a fukk about objectivity because their own sources of information are from their own holy book, which hardly counts as a legitimate source.

Lots of strawmen in this video. Scientists don't say the unvierse popped into existence from absolutely nothing, for example. Lots of conflation of atheists, scientists, and naturalists, too. Additionally, the speaker conflates the big bang, which is a theory about the expansion of the universe following a singularity, with a theory about creation (what was there/happened before the Big Bang.)

Finally, the Christian account of creation is only consistent with the scientific account if you read it as metaphors, and even then, some of the details are obtuse, like women being created out of man (when we know that in actuality, females probably existed before males in the development of sexual dimorphism.)
