I know he's 41 almost 42 and the ace of NJPW. Well, Okada is the top dawg now, but Tanahashi his the Cena of NJPW. Since he's at the tail end of his career how could he do in WWE? He has charisma and can put on great matches. I think he could do great in NXT give the belt some great prestige and do well on SmackDown.

Foreign wrestlers have succeeded in WWE which means Japanese ones definitely could IF they're booked strong out the gate

bring them in as a heel and let the audience warm up to them that way. It's a tried and true formula WWE fans love you once they get the chance to "hate you" but realize you're talented.


Japanese wrestlers just need to be given the chance to be legit ass kickers in the WWE, that oh shyt THIS is different will work.

One thing I kinda wish WWE would do(they never will) is book the Japanese stars they poach as really tough people to beat simply because they're Japanese and they wrestle a harder style across the pond. Would make them more menacing and make the fed have to book some of their American guys to look stronger.

Maybe it's just me with a shytty armchair booking idea too tho.
