How would Sanders endorsing or running with Stein have affected the race?

If Sanders had endorsed and hit the campaign trail for Stein, how much of an impact do you think it would have had in terms of the level of support Stein would be able to garner? Would she be in the 15-20% range or higher?

If Sanders had joined the Green Party ticket and Stein stepped into the VP slot (as she had stated she'd do earlier this year), what do you think the polls would look like now between Sanders/Stein, Hillary/Kaine, Trump/Pence, and Johnson/Weld?

He would have taken a significant number of votes from Hillary for sure..way more than the 15% needed for national recognition

Im guessing thats why the DNC had to keep him close and have him as a democrat but not let him actually have a fair shot at winning...He could have given us a third party ...but he sold out

Yea def would have put Trump in the WH, easily. Probably the only reason he didn't
Bernie isn't stupid and he took the best route by supporting Clinton. Because when she gets in there we can hold her feet to the fire. Bernie running with Stein would have helped Trump sad to say. We need ranked choice voting.

He'd poll well enough to get into the debates imo. He'd probably see support wane as Election Day neared tho. I think hed finish similarly to Perot in 92, doubt he'd win any states but he'd pull about 15-20% of the popular vote.

Dudes really think Bernie would have won :mjlol:

You haven't spoken to anyone irl since july

Listen, I don't like Hillary professionally at all. However, running 3rd party and then throwing the election to the house or causing the other to win isn't good. Long term, we can hold Clinton's feet to the fire. Sanders is now the power-broker. Also, we have to run local and state elections. So, that's where Our Revolution comes in. Bernie has created a lasting impact in politics. I'm a realist and this was the better option in my opinion. Sanders did what he had to do for the long-term.

EDIT: THIS comes from a person NOT voting for Hillary come November. Crazy part, I'm voting for Stein. Just a realist famo.

I don't think she will do her part either. This comes from a person who dislikes Clinton politician wise. I'm just saying that's why they are doing that. What I want is ranked choice voting or a more parliamentary system. It does set her up for failure. Because she can get primaried or lose her general.
