Melanated people, today more than ever i hear a significant number of blacks criticizing the late great MLK's aspiration for social integration. Many feel like social integration was a failed experiment. Can't help but wonder...

If social segregation (non violent, fair, and black organized/led) was to be instituted, how would you feel?:jbhmm:
would you be upset and resist it? :jbhmm:
would you look at it as an opportunity to develop a strong black economic infrastructure? :jbhmm:
Would you consider it a step backwards? :jbhmm:

this is in no way meant to disrespect our grand parents and ancestors who fought and died for integration, but i'm curious as to what ya'll think about this subject.

I would prefer this, separate us and let us build as a race and not have other races influence our progress. I don't think we should lump together others deemed to be pigmented in this venture either. Let it be black thing. I think it would be difficult to do because of the almost innate love of the white man and light skin and the reluctance of c00ns to break away from other races we have aligned ourselves with socially and economically.

A modern form of segregation would be good for black people.

I think you'd have to be pretty ignorant if you couldn't grasp the concepts of the 50s-60s Civil Rights era, only to degrade it with a motive that wasn't a central part of it's intentions.

And again, think integration has only negatively effected black people brehs.

I do not mind it. When I attended my HBCU and the only thing I saw was black people; it felt good. We did have those sprinkle of other races in the mix; but I always wanted like the idea of black people everywhere. I always wanted to go to africa and see nothing but black people; being from LA you damn near have to search for black women, shyt is kinda weak.

I like giving my money to another black hand and have it recycled back into the community.

Social segregation is still going on right now.

Wake up from the illusion of inclusion
