I had a friend who everyone said looked like LL Cool J. He leaned into that super hard. It was getting him a lot of girls back in 85-87. I was told I look like the guy who played Shaka Zulu, but sisters were not checking for that look back when I was in High School. It was more of a joke people said, not knowing how great the real Shaka was.

In college I was told I look like Bokeem Woodbine by some and Narmer Menes stone carving by others.

I did not lean into it much, because really I had no clue how to do it effectively outside of joking about it. I can see the resemblance between me and Bokeem for sure, Menes seems a bit more iffy to me, but everyone else agreed that I look like that stone carving including my future wife.
