I am eating lunch at a Wawa, but decide to sit down on the tables and seats outside.
So, a woman with her less than three year old child starts walking into a Wawa from the gas pumps. Then, she starts asking complete strangers, "Are you grown?" "Are you grown?"
I ignored her completely in an HOH manner like I'm not going to acknowledge her and her foolish question.
She ends up talking to this one woman and has a short conversation that ends with her saying the person saying she spent the last of her money on her lunch.
The woman goes inside Wawa and then comes back out a couple of minutes later.
Anyway, asking people if they are grown pretty much tells me that they aren't looking to start a normal conversation.
Have you been confronted in this manner and how did you respond? Or if not, how would you respond?
I have previously dissed a white adult male person soliciting free money, and this time, it was an adult black female soliciting money. But, if she's got a car and all, what's she doing begging money from strangers?
