I met someone who was talking about how they purchase food in bulk and spilt it into they. Like they buy food on monday and portion it and by friday its gone. Most times folk buy in bulk, and then once its finished buy again. Or buy at once and finish it there.

How would you survive on $3 a day of food a month? What would you get?

You wouldn't be eating good, but it's doable. Let's see, $3/day is $21/week. So -

Twenty-five pack of Ramen Noodles - $5
Four pounds of chicken breast - $10 (depending on where you buy it)
Bag of rice - $1
Standard box of oatmeal - $3
Boxed potatoes - $2

Could definitely live off that for a week. Granted, I'd be sick to death of Ramen Noodles and Chicken Breast, but I wouldn't be going hungry.
