Aite so pretty much everyone on this forum are all hip-hop nikkas. We consume LP's and mixtapes on our phones and our laptops and we all like to keep shyt in order with perfect metadata and tagging.

We consume remixes, bootlegs and leaks pretty much every god damn day. For ages we've pretty much managed everything manually. Downloading, unzipping, tagging and then syncing. Now though, the game is getting fukked up. If you use Apple Music or Spotify you can't do that anymore. It's skress combining streaming services AND manually managing at the same time,

You nikkas gone into FULL digital mode and completely foregone all the manual shyt now or you real nikkas still manually managing everything?

I got Google Play music and haven't looked back :banderas:

Its beautiful man, i woke up on Friday and had Ty $, Jeezy, Logic, Redman cds on my phone ready to listen to without having to download shyt. Access to old school shyt, mixtapes, all genres..... I got like 7GBs of old music on my laptop, but i never use it because I have access to same shyt via google music

What about old shyt though :patrice: You must have mixtapes in your collection from years back which ain't on the Google Music Directory, can you add them to your library and mix the old with the new?

I still buy CDs and vinyls 'cause I prefer a physical product but everything just gets ripped onto my laptop which then gets put onto my iPad/iPod which I keep in my car and play through my aux cable.

Once I rip the CD, it just goes onto my shelf with my CD and vinyls in my room. I don't use them after this point but it's looks cool and girls always comment on my collection when they see it :myman:

Somebody told me try the Google music free trial for a month. That pretty much ended my downloading music. Made it obsolete over night. Had it over a year now my only complaint is sometimes it takes a minute for new songs by lesser known rappers to get uploaded, in that case I'll still download and play it from a different program in my phone. Also occasionally it will play a censored version when you click the uncensored. Besides those things it's completely revolutionized how I access music.

Everything on my phone backed up to SD Cards & external hard drives.

Laptop/Tablet to go into each songs properties & edit the metadata myself.

Over 5,000 songs, I'm still not done yet but I strive for perfection :mjcry:

I still like downloading everything and uploading to my google play music cloud. Have my entire collection in there.

I follow favorite artists on soundcloud and Spotify and use the audiomack app to peep new songs to download.

Maybe im cheap but i don't mind doing the leg work instead of paying monthly
