I never played a MMO b4 school me
until someone gets to the end game and talks about it don't buy it. I used to be a hardcore MMO player, it's usually all fun until you get to end game and realize there is absolutely nothing to do.
Typically, while "leveling up" you do quests and there usually are some "dungeons" you can do with a group as well. You can typically level completely solo (its usually faster) but there are usually group quests you can complete along the way as well.I never played a MMO, but is this correct in describing it? Basically its setup like a single player game, missions side quests etc... only thing is instead of playing by yourself your doing all those missions with some teammates?

Once you're done leveling you hit what they call the "level cap" and you're ready for the end game now.
Unfortunately most developers spend all their time developing the leveling content and end-game is an after thought.
For me, I play MMO's for competitive PVP (player vs player) and most developers have no idea how to develop PvP well at all. WoW did it right for a while until battlegrounds and arenas ruined the game.
The problem is just knowing whether the PVP is actually good or not. As I said, most developers have insane problems developing a well thought out and engaging combat system that works well in PVP. Since PVP is such a minor aspect for most casual players developers don't spend much time on it. But it's also dependent on what YOU want from an MMO. Some people really like doing dungeons and raids and stuff. It's fun for a while but gets repetitive as you typically end up repeating the same dungeon over and over again trying to get loot.apparently this game has pvp team dm and another mode, and apparently new content quests will be like up for download when the tv show launches so hopefully it adds longevity dunno though
when you say dungeons do you mean actual dungeons or is that a mmo term for a big battle? The problem is just knowing whether the PVP is actually good or not. actual dungeons... typically when referring to dungeons, they're lower-level dungeons that you'll need a group of 5 or so to complete. "Raids" are typically max-level dungeons that require more than 5 people and are much more challenging than the dungeons you play while leveling up. Dungeons are PvE (players vs environment) content and it's the biggest reason folks play MMO's. People love doing dungeons and getting loot from them.when you say dungeons do you mean actual dungeons or is that a mmo term for a big battle?
