It's actually funny how boring and dull he is when he isn't in gimmick, The Rock is still a ridiculously charismatic dude when he's not in character so it was natural he'd be big in Hollywood, same with Arnold

Rock and Batista pretty much succeeded in where past wrestler's failed with the hollywood transition, you know Bret still that Lonesome Dove didn't open the doors like he thought it would and I kinda wished it did.... maybe that night in Montreal would have never existed

People get cheap and don't want to pay for experts and think they can do it themselves

Somebody like Hogan should have done serious acting classes like Batista did and be way more selective in roles...at his level taking smaller roles that were attached with big names and big directors would have done more for his credibility than starring in terrible unknown flicks
