When writer-director Tom Six unleashed the first Human Centipede film onto an unsuspecting world back in 2010 it’s hard to imagine many people thought it would one day become a full-fledged trilogy. Actually, it’s hard to imagine many people thought anyone would make a movie about people being surgically stitched together to form a single digestive tract in the first place. But that’s a discussion for another day. EW can exclusively reveal that Human Centipede Part 3 (Final Sequence) will be released to theaters and VOD on May 22. The film stars Dieter Laser from the original Human Centipede film, Laurence R. Harvey from Part 2, and franchise newbie Eric Roberts. Director Six promises that the movie is “100 percent politically incorrect.”

We have also exclusively obtained the synopsis for Human Centipede Part 3 for your, ahem, consumption. Enjoy!

Bully prison warden Bill Boss (Dieter Laser), leading a big state prison in the US of A, has a lot of problems; his prison statistically has the highest amount of prison riots, medical costs and staff turnover in the country. But foremost he is unable to get the respect he thinks he deserves from his inmates and the state Governor (Eric Roberts). He constantly fails in experimenting with different ideas for the ideal punishment to get the inmates in line, which drives him, together with the sizzling heat, completely insane. Under threats of termination by the Governor, his loyal right hand man Dwight (Laurence R Harvey) comes up with a brilliant idea. A revolutionary idea which could change the American prison system for good and save billions of dollars. An idea based on the notorious Human Centipede movies, that will literally and figuratively get the inmates on their knees, creating the ultimate punishment and deterrent for anyone considering a life of crime. Having nothing to lose, Bill and Dwight create a jaw-dropping 500-person prison centipede.

Finally!! I've been waiting on this for the longest.

Centipede one wasn't what I expected after all the controversy and hype. It was actually not that gory and really well filmed. But damn the nikka came thru on the second one. The whole black and white gritty feel of it, the copius amounts of gore. Still one of the most disturbing and twisted films, next to Manic, that I've seen in recent years.

I thought the second couldn't hold a candle to the first, but to each his own. At least this one has Eric Roberts in it.

The second one kept me more interested.

The first one just felt like a run of the mill horror film with the premise being a centipede. It was alright. From the opening scene in the second one,
where it shows the ending of the first one and the camera zooms out to see a flabby and sick cac obessing over the film to me was a great way to continue the storyline by seemingly basing it in "our world"
. Overall the second one left me with a feeling of unease from the cinematography to the plot to the pregnant lady scene :scust:

I prefer my horror films to leave a lasting impression. Human Centipede 2 did.

I guess I'm one of the few that felt that both 1 & 2 were terrible and boring. The first one had some interesting ideas and had some fun, but it was too tame imo; the second one went to the far extreme of the spectrum and took itself waaaaaaaaay too seriously. it was a gore beatdown, which has never been fun at all. So I'm not really looking forward to this one although I'll watch it once for Eric Roberts. Hopefully it tries to have fun this time as its a stupid ass premise and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Didn't make it out of act 1 of the second film. I just don't care anymore.
