Just saw this on the Observer board.

At the 1:48 mark they ask Keegan who he would have liked to wrestle from the indie circuit, and he mentions Tornado. This leads to them discussing the reason for his retirement.

The way they talk about it makes it seem like it was common knowledge within the business, so I'm surprised it took 4 years for someone to mention it publicly.
