Those kids in his lifestyle aren't the kid of the POTUS, so of course it's going to be a big deal.
It really isn’t look at all the presidential kids and other celebrity kids. This is Par for the course for growing up like they do. I don’t differentiate much between politicians and entertainers and other celebs sadly. They are all damn near appointed/forced.

You can apply that concept to a lot of situations out here where people use certain situations or lackthereof for political gain. Both sides of the table do it and it’d be disingenuous to sit and insist otherwise.
With that being said, Hunter Biden, Ivanka, Trump Jr and all the other presidential kids aren't nor shouldn't be immune from the slander.

Nope but I’m positive a bunch of them have done similarly reckless things. I don’t differentiate between a Presidents children or any other celebrities children. They are all appointed/assigned In order to push an agenda.
So while it may not be another presidents kid it’s still common amongst the children of the very successful. Basically take away the name Biden and put the name Kardashian or Cruise or Hanks or Gates would it really be surprising?
