Greed Island was good, the problem was that Ant arc went on for damn near 5 years.

Greed Island (for me) was easily one of the most boring arcs i've ever read. I see what its purpose was in the long run and the concepts it explored stemming from Gon's father and his associates all the way to the exorcism for Chrollo but gottdamn I felt like I eas gonna die reading those training scenes, just exposition on exposition and it was completely unnecesary just like the majority of the cards which we didn't even get to see in combat and og god those wack ass bombers. fukk them.
I did like what it did for Gon's characters though. I just wish togashi executed the theme of being in a game better.

Lasiest Shonen Mangaka ever.
If you read the manga weekly (which I didn't) for the past 15 years it must have been hell.
there were literally a year where he only put out 2 chapters, 6 another year, 8 another, and some number lower than that or a little higher and with the pacing it was not good as I could see when I read an old Hunter x Hunter discussion thread.
Don't even get me started on how long the manga went without the other half of the main characters and how boring Greed Island was.
Not that the two year hiatus is over the only question left is when he starts another one.

He's rich as fukk. I guarantee you'd get a little lazy too. Like someone already mentioned he married the chick who made the sailor Moon series and has been swimming in doe for a minute even though it doesn't look like it. He even put himself in the end of Greed Island if you remember the guy at the end of the arc in the messy room with shyt everywhere...

Oda's rich and he put's out continous chapters and manages to update his fans when he's in the hospital no exceuses Togashi2 chapters a year 10 or 11 years without Leorio and Kurapika going on a hiatus right when you introduce the Hunter X Hunter equivelant of the New World/Gormet World Put to much damn usless text in your manga to the point where it bogs down the story Dissapoint your fans again and again make Shonen Jump your bytch.........Play Dragon Quest and fukk your Sailor Moon wife

It'll never happen, but I wish Togashi would just consult the rest of the story with the anime staff and let them take care of the rest. I'm desperate man.
