‘My husband dumped me 30 seconds after our baby was born'.
The arrival of a baby should be the happiest moment of a couple’s life.
But one husband walked out on his wife moments after she gave birth, and accused her of having an affair, when their child had darker skin than they expected.
The mother and father are both Caucasian but the wife said their newborn “looked like she could have two biological parents who were of African descent”.
The husband took to social media, telling everyone on both sides of the family what had happened - and even saying he wanted a divorce.
“His family and a lot of our friends all called to say how upset they were at me and called me really nasty names,” the woman shared on Reddit.
“My mother was by my side the entire time and I kept professing my innocence [about an affair].

“He refused to pick me up from the hospital, threw my stuff out on the lawn and changed the locks - so I had to stay with my parents.
“When my sister called to ask for the baby stuff, he texted me pictures of the bare nursery room and said he got rid of everything.”
Stunning revelation
The new mum was absolutely distraught - while her husband refused to speak to her or even ask about the child.
But then came the plot twist.
Eventually, the man agreed to a paternity test - and it revealed that he was, indeed, the father of the baby.
An Ancestry test also revealed there was a 30 per cent African ancestry in the husband’s family.
‘Begging for forgiveness’
Upon learning the news, the woman’s husband tried to make amends.
But she’s not sure she can forgive so easily.
“I can’t unhear or unsee all the horrible things that were said and done, not just to me but to my child as well,” she said.
“He made some very racist remarks - things that I never thought he’d say - and he did it so easily.
She blames the husband saying he had sex with a black woman.
