It's even better than I expected bro, fire, the personal and industry stories that he's telling as an example to show why he lives by these specific laws and rules and how they work so well in business and being a leader, etc... Still got 6 more hours to go, lolThanks, was gonna cop it and still might but can't wait to hear this.
shyt, the book is full of gems.50 going into detail on just how soft and p*ssy DJ Whoo Kid is,![]()
shyt, the book is full of gems.
A few of them:
- bang em Smurf was sent home over fighting with the road manager over a Mitchell n Ness Jersey, even tho 50 said that anyone fighting each other (of their Entourage) would be sent home;
- Sha money sent an invoice charging 50k to interscope for recordings done in his basement before the deal, as soon as 50 signed. 50 tried to give him some game, and offered him to instead accept 30k and "a point" in get rich or die trying royalties. Sha refused, and instead went on to pursue his 50k. It turns out, that this "point" would've paid him 1.3 million because of how much GRODT sold. Their relationship was never the same after that, and when interscope gave 50 the g-unit deal, Sha tried to re-approach 50, and 50 flat out said that he wasn't getting a dime from the budget.
- Tony yayo was supposed to be the next 50 cent, but was always stuck in the hood mentality, always thinking about buying bricks and flipping the money, and do crazy shyt, instead of switching up.
-banks said that he don't use Instagram, because PAC and biggie did not use also (even tho social media didn't even exist, lol);
shyt, the whole thing is crazy. 50 gave some awesome insights, and I'm about 3/4 into it

For these more autobio type joints I usually perfer the audiobook over reading...especially if the person themselves is reading. I don't think I would've enjoyed P's book as much if I didn't read it via his narration.People will probably sleep because it's a book tho, lol. I never fukk with audiobooks, I like to read the physical, but this is surprisingly enjoyable. I like the part about how there's so much value in being who you genuinely are...he drew parallels between Prodigy and 2pac and how they both should have embraced their art backgrounds more publicly and not tried to have been something they weren't raised up to be. I like how he respectfully threw Gillie the Kid under the bus a few times for being an idiot too, lol
I think that's the major difference. Hearing the author himself and not someone else reading it. They actually know the emotion they're trying to express when they wrote it.For these more autobio type joints I usually perfer the audiobook over reading...especially if the person themselves is reading. shyt, I forgot that Gillie bit. nikka would only accept a million upfront, even tho interscope made him a formal offer of a deal, since 50 brought him in himself. Lol, what a dumbass.People will probably sleep because it's a book tho, lol. I never fukk with audiobooks, I like to read the physical, but this is surprisingly enjoyable.
