If the entire world quarantines for 2 weeks will Covid just disappear or nah

I could work but no way you're keeping everyone inside like that. That's basically what they do when the CDC discovers some disease made it to the US, they quarantine everyone in the contact tree until after the virus will have burned itself out.

The other problem is with all the mutations, who knows if it's communicable with animals now. That's the problem with the "herd immunity" idea. You let your whole population incubate which greatly increases the risk of more mutations.
