Whether they're innocent or guilty of murder. It's execution day. No more appeals. They facing the firing squad, needle, chair etc. Would you attend? Or your not watching your family get capitol punishment.

Wouldn't want that to be the last memory I have of them but that would be selfish.

The most important thing for me is that they don't die alone and that they have the comfort of having someone that loved them there with them.

It would be tough, but it is an "expected" death, meaning an execution date was given. We would have already had the convo of "I want to be there for you"

What I WOULDNT want to witness is my child gettin' eaten by a shark like that dude in Egypt. Son just cryin' out for his father to help him.
