Who could offset the addition of KD to Goldenstate?

Was watching a clip where Steph was saying the winner of this series will leave no doubt of who the better team was over their 3 year clash was

But when u add the 2nd best player in the league it's an unfair statement to make. Because u add a player with that much impact then of course it would be no contest.

Is there a player in the league that the Cavs can hypothetically add that can bring the same impact to their team that KD brings to the Warriors?

The only player I see even close is Kawhi...and even he wouldn't fit as seamlessly offensively as KD does....the only player i can see that could fit seamlessly offensively and defensively is prime Tmac.

Kawhi obviously, but the way Kyrie is playing theyd still lose by double digits...

Dawg...niccas is making Prisoner Of The Moment threads about everything but this. lol

WTF was Kyrie doing out there?
There was like 4 times I said "that's not a shot you take in The Finals..."

Anthony Davis, man averaged 31.5 PPG, 11 RPG, 2 APG, 3 BPG, 1.3 SPG on 54% shooting against this team in his first playoff series at only 21 years old. GS sent double teams of KD and Dray constantly at him when they played this season and they couldn't do anything to stop him. If he develops the ability to shoot the 3 at even the league's average rate they'll have no answer for him.

AD, because he's the one superstar in the league that can make an impact offensively without pounding the air out the rock :ld:

But he's staying in NOLA with Boogie and John Wall's gonna put that call in to play with his Kentucky homies :whew:

If Kyrie was Kyrie from last year I would have said Greek Freak.
I know his shooting is bad, but that kind of athleticism and defense.

Kawhi.

But then Durant's impact defensively would still be everywhere and he's just in a complete zone offensively.

It's a very small sample size because people are basing what they saw with KD on GS vs Kawhi on the first game this season and 1.5 quarters of basketball in the playoffs.

It's also not only because Lebron can't check him, but Cleveland's team defense as a whole make horrible decisions on their rotations regarding who to cover when GS players move without the ball. This makes it easy for Durant to find the open players and the passing lanes are wide open all over the court.

TMac also needed the ball in his hands so I'm not sure if he'd mesh with Kyrie and Lebron.

Anthony Davis is probably the right answer, dude would fit in too..since Lebron likes to kick it out and he can hit it. Also a Danny Green instead of JR Smith would be great

Soooohhhh can we talk about how Kyrie has been straight up ass the last two games instead? Because he's been outplayed by Steph on both ends for the most part so far and he's just THERE if he can't score.
