What y'all think?
I haven't heard anything good or bad when it comes to quality and problems.
It does have an eccentric look about it. All I know is the turbo version has a pretty good power-to-weight ratio.

The Golf GTI is the progenitor of the hot-hatch genre, and age has not dulled its abilities. A frequent 10Best honoree, the Golf GTI comes with a 210-hp, 2.0-liter turbo four and a six-speed manual. A six-speed automatic, an extra-cost option, is just as much fun as the manual. Add the Performance package for 10 more horses as well as upgrades to brakes and a torque-sensing limited-slip differential. GTI’s classic plaid seats come standard, as do agile handling and hatchback practicality.Jump to Instrumented Test – 2015 Volkswagen GTI DSG Automatic

A few friends have them and I test drove one. Perfectly good cars, the numbers and the car look quicker than it actually is. There are better options if you want a fast hatchback (Focus or Fiesta ST, Golf GTI) but at the prices you can get the Veloster it's worth considering

The 215
If that's your target range as far as cars/girls/status @GunRanger do you. Not for me but again if you in that crew where these types of cars are hot why not?

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
Terrible. Basically a Hyundai Accent with a turbo engine but less interior room. If you want something small and fun there are a lot of better options:
  • VW GTI
  • Ford Fiesta ST
  • Kia Forte5 SX Turbo
  • Ford Focus ST
If you are OK with a sedan,
  • Subaru WRX
  • Civic Si
  • Elantra Sport (same engine as the Veloster Turbo but better suspension and build quality)
Etc. It's really bad, one of the worst in its segment.
