Stop going by what the scale says and go by your body composure and fat %.

I dunno why brehs/brehetts still live and die by the scale

U can lose fat then gain muscle and that scale can barely move during that transition.

Exactly that scale gonna be the death of some folks

I know dudes that weigh 185 and look like they 205,because they lean and built up,just eat decent kill it in the gym and you’ll be alright

I was 6 foot 205 pounds but i squatted 405 benched 300 and deadlifts 495

I'm now 185 :yeshrug: still decently strong but 10% bodyfat pulls more hos

Tradeaway was worth it

There was a study done that showed participants who ate in a deficit of less than 200 calories maintained more muscle. *if I remember correctly* , I'm pretty sure it's was like 200- 250.

So if you do.... don't do it too quick and eat 1+ gram of protein per lbs of body weight...

So he suppose to eat 175 grams of protein?

At minimum 0.8-1 yes.

im suppose to eat damn near 200g of protein yet i only consume about 100-120. that whole .08- 1g per body weight is off by alot. people consuming way more protein then they should.


btw, its suppose to be per lean body weight, not total weight.

What’s lean body weight? How do you calculate?

What’s lean body weight? How do you calculate?

get your bf % done by a pro or get a scale that calculates bf %. Take your bf% then put it in lbs and subtract that from your total bodyweight for a rough estimate. The problem with the scale is the leaner you get the less accurate it gets. If you're not getting on a stage or competing at a high level I wouldn't sweat it too much. The scale should be ok for most people.
