I'm one of the biggest Kobe Stans on this forum but, Melo was a TOUGH matchup for Bean in that 2009 series.

I could tell Kobe struggled guarding that strong mofo but, we got past them.

Honestly there is an argument to be made here. Melo spreads the floor better than Bron. He definitely would've done better vs Dallas..

There isn't. If you swap Bron for KD, then you'd have an argument, but swapping Bron for a player who is 2 tiers below him is asinine.

It's as crazy as Shaq saying that he'd win 3 with Vince Carter as if Kobe wasn't killing San Antonio.
