Honestly, after listening to that recent interview Dame gave on The Combat Jack Show, I think he's good.

I think Dame's now cool with just doing his thing (the wine, art galleries etc) without being flashy as he once was. As he said in that interview, a lot of that was for show or was an "act". He's good.

They had some kinda deal with adidas too

i think he's probably good as far as mney goes but i don't believe all that bulshyt he was saying about it all being an act. he may have put it on MORE around some of the artists "to get their respect" or whatever but he showed in the interview he's still an a$$hole and a dikkhead and the fact that he burned so many bridges in the music industry is a major resaon why he's not there anymore.

Dame Dash dancing all around, pouring liquor over video vixen in music videos and saying "holla" 24/7 wasn't "Damon Dash". It was an act, it was an image to uphold. He had a brand he was advertising and a particular demographic (Hip Hop) he was trying to appeal to which called for a lot of the act that he was portraying.

And I highly doubt that Dame is as a broke as some or maybe many believe he is. Dame's a smart cat and I think he's alright.

It wasn't tho. If Dame was relevant right now he would't be claiming his actions in the early to mid 2000's as an "act". He's only saying that to downplay the fact that he's not living as comfortable as he used to portray anymore.

It's just like when a rapper's album flops and they wanna claim their underground all of a sudden.

Wasn't Dame? He was acting for 18 years? Cause he's been an exec since he was 17. He was 18 years old with a quarter mill. Since that deal he's always been the loudmouth a$$hole. Of course he grew up. He's 40+ now with grown ass kids and doesn't have the respect, power of anything to be able to act like an a$$hole and get away with it.
Harlem cats are always wildin until they get introduced to reality.

It's like saying Jay wast a hood nikka, street rapper etc he's always been a liberal selfeducated monogamous philathropist he was just acting street, just acting like a playboy .
