I am dumbfounded when people say they can't find jobs or careers...

with the sheer number of online websites, video tutorials and tools available that teach new skills in practically ANYTHING, it is crazy when I hear people talk about how they are struggling to start a career that can get them paid. ALL it takes is the ability to learn, THAT'S IT.

i agree most people are just lazy and or used to having things given to them. i see alot of pathetic 20-24 year olds(im28) that dont wanna look for work or work hard. its bad. if i didnt have a job i wouldnt be a home from day to night until i found one. shyt even if you work at a shytty place till you find something better. be a laborer. be a warehouse worker do something even the army

the recession is over and has been and the country has rebounded nice. no excuse for anyone living in a metro area to not be able to find something within a month

I know where you coming from but put on a resume you learned from a 6 minute youtube clip and see how many jobs hit you back.

I'm learning how to code online(for personal purposes) but if I did decide to try and get a job in the field I dont even know how I would explain it on a resume

Out here in my damn drawls
I got an extraterrestrial sounding name, so I really no choice but to finish school with my degree with a decent GPA in a feild that's in demand that I also would enjoy. Anything less than all of that gives me an automatic L in life, all because of my stupid a$$ name on an application....and then I'm black too :ohlawd:

I mean, if you learned how to code, why don't you build something useful ? :mindblown:

Before trying to call me out, you could have at least asked how I knew this. I actually had a great career out of college but I quit working in that career field because I didn't fit in wit the culture :manny:. fukk rocking suits and wack-ass dress shoes all day, and on top of that, having to kiss-ass and politic your way to the top instead of shyt being based on skill :smh:

I got back on my grind and did something I loved to do, learned 12-15 hrs a day, and eventually made my way back to where I was at and surpassed it, money-wise. shyt, if I would have had as many resources available to me then, as I have today, that process would have been MUCH faster.
