Sorry, but I like my cars with weight on them. Just how I like my women.

If I had to choose between and srt charger/Challenger and an ss Camaro, I'm goin with the srt.

Before you know it, they will make american cars at 3,000lbs crankin out 600hp

THUNDER BUDDIES
LIGHT CARS WITH BIG ENGINES IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE PONY CAR THOUGH. THE WEIGHT ON MUSCLE CARS HAS ONLY STARTED IN THE 90'S. 60'S MUSTANGS WERE ONLY 2500LBS OR SO.

PEOPLE ARE GOING CRAZY TRANSPLANTING COYOTES INTO OLDER MUSTANGS AND THUNDERBIRDS BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT DIFFERENCE. THEY ARE MAKING ROCKETS MAN. I'M SURE CHEVY AND DODGE ARE THE SAME.

I wish my car was a bit lighter just for speed and performance purposes (Lexus IS-F). Got a N/A v8 pushin ~416HP but weighs almost 3780lbs. I'll admit I do like how beefy it is, I mean it is a 4 door sedan cant expect it to be that light. Thinking about puttin a supercharger or something in there soon since weight reduction is not realistic

The weight/torque distribution on my CLS550 is :ohlawd:
I drove a 63 for 4 years and it started to fall apart on me all at once soon as the warranty was up. Airmatic, window switch, vacuum problem (mercedes couldn't figure out), COMAND went out.

How's yours holding up for you?

Pretty much every German car and the Japanese cars trying to keep up with them are bloated whales right now. Even the BMW M2 that everyone is praising as the first true M since the E46 is heavy and overweight.

Comfort (technology and suspension) is the reason.

Good so far, bought it with 35k on the dash in march and already put 4K miles on it. I ended up getting a 5 year additional 90k warranty through Carmax so hopefully I'll be covered if it starts to break

Camaros are still considered heavy. Last I checked the curb weight was damned near 3800-3900 lbs depending on it's options.
