has anyone here ever read the stand? salems lot? the shining? his entire bibliography is full of n-bombs and all kind of crazy hateful shyt. you could argue that he was writing evil characters, but idk it feels like he gets off on 'getting away' with using that kinda language. just look at his characters: john coffey in the green mile? what grady said to jack in the shining? and all the weird american indian shyt in pet sematary, the romani in thinner, it goes on and on, fukkin et cetera. i have seen some posts online calling this shyt out but in general it just seems to be accepted. i assume its because most people are familiar with stephen king from his movies, which for the most part sanitize a lot of the stories (somewhat).

i dont know if king has true racial hatred or if hes just ignorant (dude is from the backwoods of maine which is 94% white) but every non-white character in his books stick out like a sore thumb

It reminds me of people being about people being upset about Tarantino using the n-word in a move that takes place during slavery.
