One of the weirdest things on the coli is how Dak is some polarizing figure who somehow no matter how the cowboys lose it's Dak fault.. In reality he is just another one of those QB's who can be really elite at times, really good at times, and occasionally be bad...which is what you can say about like...half of all the qb's in the league...
Zuerlein has missed 3 kicks this year and games that ended up being decided by 3 points or less...cowboys lost all 3 but somehow the story is "It's Dak's fault"...
The defense looked outstanding playing against arguably the 5 worst qb's in the nfl...played a legit qb today...couldn't force 4 turnovers for the first time in a month...even though a pick fell in their hands like a punt...but the story is "its Dak's fault"...
Biadasz and Connor get ragged dolled by DT's every single game to the point its hard to even go down field or do anything up the middle...Conner got benched and only got his job back cause somehow McGovern is even worse than he is...but the story is "it's Dak fault"
Zeke went from rushing for 60 yards to 50 yards to 30 yards and now literally can't get 2 yards a carry...dude is the 3rd highest paid running back in the nfl and you can't count on him for 20 yards a game anymore...cowboys had 4th and 2 and 4th and 1 and had to throw fukking passes to convert cause they can't turn around and give it to a nikka making 15 million dollars a year...but the story is " it's Dak fault"...
Dak did not play well in this game...he is one of the reasons why they lost...but he is not the only reason...he is not even the main reason...if I had to list the top 10 reasons why they lost I might have him as 9 or 10...
You can absolutely win a superbowl with Dak...you sure as shyt can't win one paying a guy 15 million dollars to have 9 carries for 16 yards against a defense missing half its startes to covid and injuries...so yeah I agree the cowboys aren't a threat to win the superbowl until they can finally rid themselves of the 15 million dollars worth of garbage in their backfield...
Swap out Zeke and Zuerlein for just a league average kicker and a league average running back and the only have two losses this year against the broncos and chiefs...
Also, Amare Cooper has mastered the "do absolutely nothing for 3 and a half quarters, catch 1 touchdown pass late in the 4th, that is all people remember is the touchdown he got that "made it a 1 possession game", but if you actually watched the game you would know this nikka had 4 catches for 22 yards against a backup who got torched the week before dallas and will get torched the week after dallas...
This team will be significantly better when they get a better center, guard, and running back...i'm shocked they had a chance to win seeing as how if they would have given the ball to their running back 5 times in a row they still wouldn't get a 1st down...
