To be honest, i think hes just kinda stuck in that underground keepin it real vs puffy mainstream mentality thing that all hip hop heads were apart of. Its an anti comformity type thing where as anything mainstream and popular is automatically trash. And to be honest, alot of it was.

Anywwy People of this generation wouldnt understand. Its like.....you had to be on one side or the other. Plus you gotta understand that back in the day AUTHENTICITY was everything. Now its ok and commonly accepted that rappers have others write their rhymes. Back then you would have been lynched if people knew that.

Anyhow, myself and others grew outta that phase of hip hop and evolved with the genre. I dont think he fully did.
