Instead of making a way for themselves they want "massa" to take care of them with government aid and shyt. That's why it's irrelevant because the whole dichotomy of the system isn't for the average citizen anyway.
Today's Republicans aren't those Republicans. They aren't even 2000-2008's Republicans. They don't even acknowledge Bush, Cheney, and Powell because they aren't extreme enough.
I think people generalize too much when talking political parties. I mean, out of a ma-gillion people, we only have 2 parties to vote for (usually).
