Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has been accused of slapping a man in the face and squeezing his neck in a nightclub after the man allegedly took a picture of him.
According to TMZ Sports, Griffin and Clippers teammates were partying at a Las Vegas nightclub in the early hours of Oct. 19th when the alleged victim took a cell phone photo of the crowd. Griffin was reportedly bothered by the flash and “grabbed my phone with one hand,” according to the man.
When security arrived to the scene, the power forward allegedly told them to escort the man out of the club. According to a statement the alleged victim gave to nightclub security, Griffin then “slapped me in the right side of the face.”
An unnamed source with knowledge of the situation tells The Beast 980 that “this did not happen the way it was reported,” adding, “Blake did take the guy’s phone and deleted the photo, but did not slap (him).”
