Does the weighted part separate from the blanket for washing?
I would say make sure it does that, because I felt like I was coming across some that didn't.
Also make sure the weight is appropriate for your bodyweight.
not the one I had. it was like heavy pellets. i'd have to wash it in a tub and air dry it outside
