#1 pick's prospect top list:
1. Joel Embiid- 7'0 250, Joel looks like a young Hakeem as much as Bill Self has mentioned it before the season started. He has excellent quickness, agility, speed, wingspan (7-5), elite body control, excellent court vision and passing ability, great shot blocker has good range, high BBIQ, decent ball handling skills, good defensive instincts, and is a good rebounder.
Issues are he is very raw. He doesn't have a repertoire of moves, he can be overly aggressive at times, and he is still raw. Here only started playing Basketball two years ago after playing handball and soccer in his native land of Cameroon. While he the least NBA ready of my guys in the top 10, he is a true center and has elite potential and this will always be a center's league and their aren't many two way elite centers in the NBA anymore. Looks like a big ass Samuel Eto'o
NBA Comparison: Hakeem Olajuwon
NBA Now: Bismack Bimyobo with more offense and BBIQ
2. Andrew Wiggins- 6'8 200, Freak, every physical skill is off the charts with him. Quickness, explosiveness, wingspan (7'0), first step, hand-eye, he has it all and some that most even elite athletes don't have. He has range, good BBIQ, can play on or off the ball, great defensive instincts, as well as the family lineage. He is one of the best prospects to come out in years and the best guard prospect in ages.
Issues: He is a two foot jumper, aggressiveness on offense isn't always there, can look disinterested at times, does he have the killer instinct? Looks like Chamillionaire.
NBA Comparison: Paul George with more talent and potential
NBA Now: Jeremy Lamb with more talent and PT
3. Dante Exum- 6'6 190 Not sure if he is a PG or SG at the next level but it is more than likely to reach his potential at either position but for now he will be a PG. He is explosive, elite speed, elite first step, elite defensive instincts and one foot jumper, and has great wingspan 6-10, draws fouls at an extremely high rate, solid passer, good court vision, very good BBIQ for his age.
Issues: He doesn't have big hands, needs to do better fighting through screens. Overall, he doesn't have many issues. He isn't too raw either. Looks like one of Rev Run's children.
NBA Comparison: Penny Hardaway with a blend of Michael Jordan.
NBA Now: A taller less skilled Jeff Teague
4. Julius Randle- 6'10 250 He has it all offensively, strength, skill, athletic ability, can face up, post up, blow pass you on the perimeter as a big man, a match-up nightmare. High BBIQ, good passer, elite rebounder, elite ball handling for his position, has great intangibles, blessed with confidence and composure, With Parker and Smart, he is the most NBA ready player in the draft. Offensively, he will be elite soon and his skill-set is already there.
Issues: Wingspan: 6-11, he isn't laterally quick and isn't that explosive. He has limitations on defense that will keep him from being a two way player which is why Exum, Embiid, and Wiggins are higher on my chart. Looks like your average New York rapper.
NBA Comparison: Derrick Coleman with the right mindset, in shape, and great intangibles
NBA Now: A less skilled Zack Randolph with more athletic ability.
5. Jabari Parker- 6'8.5 240 Skilled Skilled Skilled Skilled Skilled. The most skilled player in this class. He can score with ease. Has good handles. From the perimeter, the post, he can play on and off the ball unlike some players he is compared too, and he has very good BBIQ and elite potential BBIQ wise as well. Good wingspan 6'11. Uses his body extremely well which is rare for someone who is 18 years old. There isn't one reason why he can't come into the NBA averaging 22 ppg as a rookie. He is a legit NBA scoring champ type of player and he is efficient doing as well. Defensively, he is smart and understands the importance of rotations, moving your feet and making a good decision when needed. Has killer instincts, has great intangibles, you can build a contender around him. He is ready to make a major impact Day 1. Has good hair

Issues: Above average first step, not a great athlete but not a bad one as well. Conditioning is a concern, isn't laterally quick at all.
NBA Comparison: Carmelo Anthony with less quickness but better everything else.
NBA Now: A slightly less skilled Carmelo Anthony with less quickness but better everything else.
6. Marcus Smart 6'4 220. I like him a lot more as a PG than most. While he doesn't have the court vision of Baron Davis, I liking him to B-Diddy. He is quick, extremely strong, extremely agile for his size, a willing passer, an unstoppable scorer, great instincts, great bounce off of the ground, elite post player for a guard, not just a PG but for a guard, high BBIQ, improved his range and is more consistent from the arch, excellent defender, can use his feet like a top tier running back, just an amazing two way guard who has potential to be elite. Can you imagine a Rampage Jackson looking nikka running right at you? Yeah nikka, deal with it.
Issues: Isn't an elite athlete but for his size is close enough. Could continue to improve his range. Needs to become better running an offense but has made major strides in the off-season. Honestly, he is most impressive PG I seen since Wall. Surprised he is 6th on my list but the guys above him are elite prospects as well.
NBA Comparison: Baron Davis with the intangibles, work ethic, will, and next level skills.
NBA Now: Deron Williams last season in Brooklyn.
7. Aaron Gordon 6'8 230 Explosive as s**t! That is the first words to describe him. He really is a Blake Griffin clone. Aaron has more range, a little bit more skilled as far as ball handling as well as shooting and is better than Blake as a Freshman but not as good as Blake when he was a Soph. He would likely be the #1 pick last year but this year he isn't. Good wingspan for height 6'11.5. Good intangibles.
Issues: He is shorter than Griffin by two inches but longer than Blake as well. Weighs 20 pounds less but is the same size as him going into his freshman season as Blake was as a freshman. Both lack lateral quickness and Blake was better on the blocks than Gordon during his time at OU. Defensively, look at Blake and those are going to be the problems Aaron has but Aaron is mentally soft like Blake so don't expect to see players bullying Aaron like they do Blake. Aaron is from the Bay. nikka look like the light skin Edge.
NBA Comparison: Blake Griffin
NBA Now: Blake as a rookie.
This is where I do my homework, not that these guys aren't good because they are but the top 7 is elite and these guys aren't but they have potential.
8. Noah Vonleh 6'10 242 Skilled and talented. Draws comparisons to Lamar Odom. Long 7'4 wingspan, good ball handler, can post and drive, good passer, very good BBIQ, plays with a lot of composure, can play 5 positions in college and multiple positions in the NBA. Good post defender. Plays sound help side defense, excellent rebounder, good shooter with good range, good athlete, would be 2nd on my list of prospects if he came out last year.
Issues: Not elite at anything. Looks like Shaka Zulu. SHAKA ZULU!
NBA comparison: LaMarcus Aldridge
NBA Now: Lamar Odom last year
9. Rodney Hood 6'8 215 Skilled and talented. Can do everything at a high level. Impressive first step. Excellent shooter, elite BBIQ, NBA ready and can truly play. Good defender as well.
Issues: Shooting and his quickness is elite but what else is? Short wingspan 6'8. Is he a better college player than NBA? Let's be real, he looks like the Bubbles from the Wire. nikka looking like a sophisticated crackhead.
NBA Comparison: Danny Granger but is a better shooter.
NBA Now: Rookie Danny Granger but is a better shooter.
10. Isaiah Austin 7'1 225 Defensively smart and offensively skilled. He continues to improve in his defense and his offense is solid. He has 7'3 wingspan and a 9'3 standing reach. Gets 5 blocks a game due to his timing on his shot blocking improvements and he is very mobile for his size. Solid shooter.
Issues: While he has improved his feel for the game and his BBIQ in general, he still has a ways to go. He is still weak and he is still really inconsistent. But has make massive improvements in some regards to his feel for the game. His rebounding isn't anywhere where it needs to be and he still fouls too much but with that said, he is mobile and can block shots and that means a lot in the NBA. I ain't gonna say he looks like a stickman but if you want to, cool.
NBA Comparison: Rik Smits
NBA Now: Hasheem Thabeet
That's my top 10.
