I can't be the only one who doesn't like Family Guy?

The first 5 seasons of Family Guy was funny as fukk. It was random, politically incorrect comedy. If you didn't like that kind of comedy you're not gonna like Family Guy.

They had the episode on recently when Meg tricks her family into going into a talk show because they embarrass her all the time. shyt had my stomach hurting

Family Guy definitely has it's funny moments from time to time. I'm an 80's baby so I like a lot of the nods they give to 80's flicks and cartoons. But as far as the plots and stories go they've sucked for a very long time. It's like they're running out of situations to put the characters in so you got all these episodes with Stewie and Brian with the time machine going back in time for shyt. IMO The Simpsons has always been the better show. Even the new ones,which people constantly shyt on even though they don't fukkin watch it!

It was a decent show when it first came out but even then it wasn't in the league of the Simpsons or even south park. Anyways American Dad is the best Seth show. That's a legit good show, Simpsons or south park good but a good show none the less.

I feel the same way. I used to think it was hilarious, now it just feels forced and boring. All Seth McFarlane's work since about 2010 with the exception of Ted has bored me to tears. Went to go see A million way to die in the west... big mistake, shyt was terrible.

I'd say the first 5 seasons are some of the best comedy cartoon I've ever seen. South Park dished out the ether on it though and completely destroyed the entire show for me. they broke down the creative process artistically and hilariously. Now that I think about it, that South Park episode may have had a lingering unconscious effect on me.

Sidenote: South Park is terrible now as well and I have literally no desire to watch any more episodes of it.

SP fell off something serious. That being said:

It's my least favorite show ever. I can't stand anything about the way the show is constructed. Cut away jokes that have nothing to do with the plot, overuse of gross out humor and gags, bad voice acting.. just an all around stupid show with no redeeming qualities.

I've had to watch this show more than I ever would because whenever I would go chill at my friends house, that's all that seemed to be on the TV when I'd be over there.

So many people I know love the show, and look at me like I'm crazy when I say not only do I not like it, I can't stand it.
