I can't believe there's no WM pre-shows this year

Damn, they really went all out with the Network a few years ago.

Remember for WM XXX, there was a "WM Today" show, and it started on Thursday afternoon, then Friday, then Saturday. It was a 1 hr show just discussing the show, playing up the angles, showing fans at fan access, talking with fans, wrestler interviews. It's probably still on the Network under the WM XXX folder.

For WM 31 I think they did it on that Friday, that Saturday, then super early that Sunday

I can't remember if they did it last year for WM 32, but this year there's nothing at all. Only the pre-show before the event itself on Sunday. :francis:

It just made those events "feel" like Wrestlemania. Like it was big & grandiose. It was a perfect use of the Network.

Yeah you can still watch the WrestleMania Today's from WMXXX. I don't think they did it last year either. They probably felt it was an unnecessary cost but I loved it. I enjoyed them. There's a lot they could do with the network they don't. That MSG house show a couple weeks back should have been on the network. :francis:

and that's the thing, it can't be that expensive. Other than whatever cost they have to go live on the Network.

Back when they taped SmackDown, it was always fun to see the last show before WrestleMania get turned into a hype show and you would see everybody at Axxess enjoying themselves. It made the event seem bigger and more important.

I need to get hyped up for this one though. :francis:

There's a WWE 24 about the post-Mania Raws this week on the Network, but haven't found much else.

I think they're kind of missing a trick here tbh. Everyone's got their eyes on the Network this week and not getting fed (even NXT was pretty anticlimactic), but in the end they're going to splurge out so much in one weekend that the fans are numb by the end. They should drop the Kick Off to keep the running time on Sunday vaguely under control, maybe save a few fans from dropping dead of deep vein thrombosis in the stands and give us a couple of sweet hour long history and build-up specials through the week... let those video packages shine, maybe drop a couple of little bombshells to keep the hype steady going into the weekend.

HoF tomorrow night, I guess.

You got the HoF on Friday
NXT Takeover on Saturday
6-7 hours of Wrestlemania on the Sunday

That is like 12 hours already.

And they had the Stone Cold/Mick Foley podcast like on the Wednesday last year.

Then add the shows from ROH, Evolve and Progress over the weekend, that's 20+ hours of wrestling over a 48 hour period.

They have nothing to do with WWE Those shows aren't as visible and aren't worth the hassle of finding links to watch plus if it ain't on WWE network then what does it really have to do with mania preshows

The only show that matters is the main show. Where the main event is the rebirth of TSC. I can feel the throat of the weak gasping their final breaths. The whites of their eyes disappearing.

If you was to ask the right person in TSC, I'm sure as God made little apples that you'll have links to those 3 shows by Sunday, the latest on Monday.

As for the network still 12 hours of programming over a 48 hour period that is still 1/4.
