I can't decide how I feel about Ace Hood's Music

I downloaded that last album, theres a beat and a hook or two that worked for me, surprisingly that Chris Brown one was dope, in a predictable and generic way, but I don't think he has much to say, or original or creative ways to say it...he's not offensively bad, it's just his music has little personailty, seemed like a humble, low key dude though on Breakfast Club, I guess after getting that eviction notice and the tough love treatment from Khaled lol

I'm torn between him.. on one hand I kinda like him but on the other I wish he kept that religious stuff to a minimum..its wack. it makes me not wanna listen to any of his newer shyt.. only reason I can't fukk with Trials & Tribulations.. if I wanna hear that crap, I'll go to church.

I thought he was just another generic rapper until I listened to Starvation 2 and realized he actually can rap and make good music. Even though he went overboard wit the religious shyt I think Trials and Tribulations is one of the most underated albums this year

man Ace album so far is the only one have been listening to at least once a week out of all the summer albums Cole/Jay/Miller/Kanye...like OP said he's not wack but when he gets personal and spits that real you gotta feel him (pause)
