System Restore...While in Safe Mode..Delete any new programs that you did not add.

system restore while in safe mode

1. system restore the whole pc from control tab

2. should i be connected to firefox while in safe mode and how do i get to safe mode

Naw don't do that. Talk to me about the virus protection program you have.

lol, i dont have a virus protection program. im about here ass naked, is there any good ones that could work right now. i cant even type in things on the mozilla firefox page i have to use bing. this is hard.

I got a mac so it is different. Never had this issue.

Try this last one before you think about going to the professionals.

Before doing this, go to my last post and click enable all.

Start Menu> Type "msconfig" > Click on "msconfig" > Click on startup > Enable all > Click apply


The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown

(site name) uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
The file cert8.db in your profile folder may have become corrupted. Delete this file while Firefox is closed.

  1. Open your profile folder:

    Click the menu button
    2014-01-10-13-08-08-f52b8c.png
    , click help
    2014-01-10-13-10-08-eaa722.png
    and select Troubleshooting Information. The Troubleshooting Information tab will open.

  2. Under the Application Basics section, click on Show in Finder. A window with your profile folder will open.
    Note: If you are unable to open or use Firefox, follow the instructions in Finding your profile without opening Firefox.

  3. Click the menu button
    2014-01-10-13-08-08-f52b8c.png
    and then click Quit
    2014-03-07-11-44-35-716f6b.png
    .

  4. Click on the file named cert8.db.
  5. Press command+Delete.
  6. Restart Firefox.
cert8.db will be recreated when you restart Firefox. This is normal.

where is my profile folder and the pics aint showing up but i think if i get to the profile folder i can find it.

god bless yall man. i got youtube working again all praises due to the most high. i was one the edge for real now i can hear the sweet sounds. came at a price though i know i messed up the internal organs of this PC and now my mozzila comes with a yahoo tool bar thats messing the screen up and i lost a lot of data smh :bryan:
