It’s sucks that the defense is complete dogshyt, cause this offense is actually really fun to watch. Especially compared to last where we never scored 40 points and the run game was washed as hell.

Did people think this defense was going to be good because we played the Eagles close?

Schottenheimer gets a pass this year since he has little to no talent on that side of the ball to work with.
Safeties are washed vets, CB is one guy who is already banged up, we have yet to field a starting caliber LB this season, DE is Kneeland and Ezeiruaku not yet ready and washed vets.

They finally addressed DT for the first time since early 2010s Ratliff and every other position group is poverty. Very on brand for this franchise.
This defense is worse than 2013. This won't be the only game we score 40 and don't win this season.

It'll probably be the only game we score 40 this season, though. I fully expect this offense to struggle to get to 20 points against the Jets.
