Fact during their time on tv together he was consistently losing. Fact 2 they've been broken up for months he's still being treated the same, while the other members of his group are getting good pushes. The only time he we was in the main event was against John Cena late 2012/early 2013. The way he's presented by the company is an issue that revolves around him and how the higher ups see him.
