The problem shouldn't be the discussion but how its used to deflect. Like another poster said most groups are more likely to be killed by there own kind vs outsiders, yet others get to fear monger about immigrants or blacks even if we dont live near them at all. While if we're wronged by an outside group and they basically get a slap on the wrist or get told what they did against one of us is justified, then here comes this argument that since black criminals exist we cant call out unfair treatment from not just outsiders but from the justice system.

Have the crime discussion all you want just dont use it to shut down other discussions
