A full on brawl broke out down in Alabama near the Montgomery Riverfront Park on Saturday evening. Footage of the brawl has been making its rounds on social media by onlookers and it ended with several people in police custody.
According to reports, police said they were called around 7 p.m. to the 200 block of Coosa Street on a disturbance.
"At the scene, they located a large group of subjects engaged in a physical altercation. Several subjects have been detained and any charges are pending," a police statement read.
Police didn't provide any additional information
Saturday night, but the videos posted on social media suggest the brawl started when a pontoon boat, full of white people, stopped at the riverfront, preventing a riverboat from docking there.
A black security guard on duty asked them to move and things quickly went left. The group of white men started attacking the security guard.
When the riverboat was eventually able to dock...let's just say they went over to the white men and put the paws on them for attacking the black security guard.
Several people ended up arrested in the end.
